Pedal with Purpose: Join Us on the "Ride for Research"

From October 13th to 18th, my brother and I are embarking on a "Ride for Research" - an epic, six-day cycling journey spanning over 700 km from Toronto to Montreal.

Like countless families on this earth, our lives have been deeply touched by cancer. So this ride is more than a physical challenge; it is a personal pledge to every friend and loved one who has endured, is confronting, or is living with this disease

Our Mission on Two Wheels:

1. Fund Research: We dedicate this ride to promote life-saving Cancer research and education. Our goal is to raise $2,000 CAD to support the brightest minds working toward a future free from cancer as it is known today.
2. Spread Awareness: Every kilometre we pedal is a rolling billboard for awareness. We'll be sharing our journey to illuminate the need for early detection, better treatments, and unwavering support.
3. Promote Health and Wellness: We love to promote the transformative power of cycling. We champion riding as a powerful tool for holistic well-being?from strengthening cardiovascular health and fostering a deep mind-body connection, to serving as a sustainable, low-carbon mode of transport that benefits the natural and urban environment. Cycling is scientifically proven to boost the health of the individual and the well-being of the community.

Finally, as we feel the wind on our faces and the road beneath our wheels, we know that:

"The harmony of cycling is found in its perfect rhythm, where the left is the pedal of feeling; the right is the pedal of thought; they turn in perfect synchrony" 

This harmony on the bike mirrors the balance we seek in life - combining heart (feeling) and science (thought). The rhythm of the ride is our meditation and our commitment to building a better future for our community.
