The steps are aligning for a second marathon for cancer research.
This cause is close to my heart, I have seen and I see the impact of cancer on a life. Too many people around me are affected by cancer.
7 years ago, I said goodbye to a loved one. She died of a brain tumor at the age of 45. In 2024, I participated in one of the Cancer Research Society (CRS)'s challenges by running the New York marathon in memory of my friend and raised $6,500 to support cancer research.
It's not easy to run a marathon, it's even less so when you feel helpless in the face of disease. And it's not easy to see a loved one suffer in silence in the face of the unknown. A cancer diagnosis changes all plans, puts all resources to the test.
Thanks to research funding, cancer is gradually being demystified, one step at a time. Developments are bringing hope, a hope that allows patients to dream of a healthy life—a treasure that is priceless.
A donation for cancer research is hope for tomorrow.
Thank you, without your contribution, we would not have so many relatives who are in remission or healed.
