Cancer touches all of us — directly or indirectly.
In 2019, I wanted to take concrete action for people close to me who have been affected by this disease. Together with the best teammate I could ask for — my mom, Andrée — we launched the Mother-Daughter Challenge to Outrun Cancer. Our goal is simple: to use our health, our energy and our time to support those who are fighting cancer.
Thanks to the generosity of our community, we raised nearly $20,000 in 2019, which led us to complete an incredible challenge: crossing the Wadi Rum desert in Jordan on foot.
This year, we are taking on a new adventure. In October, we will be trekking across the peaks of central Tunisia as part of a new challenge supporting the Canadian Cancer Society, which funds important research projects — including at Sainte-Justine Children’s Hospital.
To take part, we must raise $20,000 together — $10,000 each.
It’s an ambitious goal. But we know that every donation makes a real difference by supporting prevention, early detection, treatments and improvements in care for all types of cancer.
We truly believe these efforts help advance the breakthroughs that so many families — ours, our friends’, and yours — are hoping for.
Would you consider supporting us, no matter the amount?
Every contribution counts.
Donating is a way to take action — on behalf of those who can only hope.
Thank you for helping make this 2nd Mother-Daughter Challenge to Outrun Cancer a success for those who need it most.
